Abbey

Throughout the month of July I have gotten to know a beautiful young lady named Abbey. I can't say that I know everything about her, but what I do know defines my idea of beauty. I was talking about random things while we were at the shoot today and I have never met someone as real as Abbey. She has worked through serious tough times throughout her entire life and it makes me think of the quote, "If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it." How strong a person must be if God trusts his/her strength by putting big bumps in the path of their life...it makes me think about how strong Abbey must really be. She takes her brokenness and gracefully pulls herself together with a beautiful heart. I am so excited that this amazing young woman has walked into my life and shown me how to gracefully accept strength even when I want to give up and walk away.

Abbey, I am so thankful for the wonderful gift you are, have been and always will be. The shoot was so much fun and I am so thankful you spent time with me! I know your precious Papa was right there with us all day today admiring and thanking God for the beautiful creation that you are and all the precious moments he experienced with you in his life. :)

Up and going...I hope!

Well..I'm officially "blog creating" challenged. I tried my best though and this is what I came up with! I'm hoping to get a little help from a friend the next time I see her.

Soo...I took a break from photography for awhile. I was working around 50 hours a week at another job and it was hard to run my photography business the way I wanted to. BUT, I'm back now and VERY excited.

I have done several shoots recently...probably the coolest was with Audra on the 50 yard line of Jones Stadium...even though I'm an Aggie, I thought it was pretty cool. (See sneak peek below)

I have picked up another hobby: design. I figure I could mix it in with my photography and maybe create some pretty cool things :) My sister and two of my closest friends are in a band called The Promise. They performed at San Ramon's jamaica on Sunday and I took a few pictures and put some of my design skills to work. Check it out below and let me know what you think! :)
